British Downhill Series #3

The BDS #3 was at Llangollen and it'sthe steepest DH race track in the UK. I had been looking forward to riding this track for ages! Practice went really well and I was enjoying myself, the track was very dusty, steep and loose so all of which was challenging, however, I got on well and was riding well.

In the race, I made a few small mistakes so I crashed and ended up in 4th place. Just missed the podium, however, I am now leading the Series with points so I can now look forward to the other races and try to bring another series win in!

World Cup #3 - Leogang, Austria

Leogang is a new course on the World Cup Circuit so it was great to come to a place where I had no idea of what to expect. The practice went well; the track was technical, little steep in places and had some pedally bits. It rained pretty hard too so was quite a tough challenge in the end!

Unfortunately in my qualifying run, I crashed hard into a tree and couldn't continue to ride. The medics thought I had broken my rib but looks like it's just bad bruising and some stiff and very sore muscles so I will be fine!! Just so gutted I couldn't race! Unlucky number 13 board eh!
